Man assaulted in Selby after being pushed to the floor and kicked

North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information about an assault in Selby.

It happened on Bawtry Road bridge at around 9.20pm on Saturday (30th October).

Officers say a group of three or four men on bicycles assaulted another man, pushing him to the floor and kicking him a number of times causing pain and swelling.

Police are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.

In particular, they are appealing for information about the group of men involved. They have been described as aged between 18 to 20 and wearing all black.
