Air ambulance called out after crash in Harrogate
One person was taken to hospital
A person has been airlifted to hospital after a crash involving two vehicles near Harrogate.
Police and fire crews were called to Killinghall Roundabout near Skipton Road, and closed off Rowden Lane.
Harrogate Fire Station posted on Facebook: "“This morning, Harrogate crew attended a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A59. One transported to Leeds hospital via air ambulance.”
Drivers were asked to avoid the road while initial investigations took place.
