The Great Yorkshire Showground in Harrogate is set to become a centre for Covid-19 vaccines.

The Harrogate and Rural District CCG is appealing for help to run the centre next week.

In a post on Facebook, it's revealed the sessions will take place on Tuesday 22nd and Wednesday 23rd December.

Last week, health bosses in North Yorkshire said the county will benefit from seven vaccination sites, after not being on the initial list of areas with a hospital hub.

Health bosses are now looking for people to help run the Yorkshire Showground centre.

Volunteers would be taking on parking control and site management roles.
