Appeal for witnesses following collision on the A65 near Skipton
Three vehicles were involved in the crash yesterday evening
Police officers in North Yorkshire are appealing for witnesses following a collision in Skipton yesterday (31 August 2021).
The incident happened at around 6.20pm on the A65 at Thorlby, Skipton, involving a silver Citroen Dispatch, a blue Mercedes Benz and a grey Seat Leon.
All of the cars were badly damaged, and the road was closed while the vehicles were recovered.
A number of people were taken to hospital with serious but not believed to be life threatening, injuries.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any Dashcam footage and was travelling in the area at the time is asked to contact police.
