Scarborough's Coronavirus rate falls again
Over the last seven days, the borough has averaged 19 new cases a day.
Scarborough’s Covid-19 infection has fallen slightly in the last 24 hours, after 37 new cases were recorded yesterday.
The borough’s seven-day infection rate is now 121 cases per 100,000 people, down from 128 yesterday.
Over the last seven days, the borough has averaged 19 new cases a day.
It means that Scarborough’s infection rate remains below the average for England, which is now 151.
The average rate for North Yorkshire is 104.
The borough’s overall total number of cases, since the start of the pandemic, is now 2,927.
Scarborough’s walk-in coronavirus testing site at William Street Coach Park is still offering testing seven days a week, from 8am until 8pm.
Appointments must be booked in advance.
