Police hunt suspects after arson attack in Blyth

Officers are appealing for information following a report of arson in Blyth.

At around 1am on Sunday, September 29, the fire service alerted police to an incident on Maidstone Road.

It was reported than an offender had set fire to two vehicles parked on a residential drive, resulting in the fire spreading to a property.

Emergency services attended the scene and the fire was extinguished a short time later.

No-one was reported to have been injured in the incident.

Extensive enquiries have been carried out since the report was first received and today (Thursday) police are appealing to the public for information.
