Newcastle have confirmed plans to celebrate their historic E-F-L Cup triumph last weekend.

Their 2-1 victory over Liverpool - which sealed the club's first major silverware in 70 years - will be screened in full at an open-air event on the Town Moor on the 29th of March.

There'll also be a DJ, a live band, and special guests - before Eddie Howe's side take to the stage with the trophy.

Set around a large main stage on the Town Moor, adjacent to the Great North Road, the open-air event will be free to attend - but fans must register to attend.

Phased priority period for fans to register interest:

Friday, 21st March, from 1pm - season ticket holders

Friday, 21st March, from 3pm - Mags/Mags + Members

Saturday, 22nd March, from 10am - all other supporters

It is expected roads through the city will be closed or diverted - but there has been no official updates on the traffic and road plans yet.
