Real-Life Video Game Go-Kart Attraction Racing into Gateshead this October!
Prepare to shift your leisure time into high gear!
Last updated 4th Sep 2024
The kids might be back at school now but we're already wishing it was the October half-term.
Because that's when Gateshead's groundbreaking new attraction, BattleKart – a thrilling fusion of indoor electric go-karting, real-life video gaming, and augmented reality - opens!
BattleKart (Opening on October 28th, 2024) offers a unique and exhilarating experience where players can immerse themselves in an interactive karting world. Utilising state-of-the-art projectors, drivers will navigate dynamic courses, firing rockets at opponents to slow them down, collecting power-ups to boost their speed, and creating chaos with oil spills. This is not just karting; this is a real-life video game adventure.
With six different game modes to choose from, there's something for everyone. With BattleRace you can test your speed and strategy, BattleFoot allows you to play life-sized football from the seat of your go-kart, and with BattleSnake you can relive the nostalgia of the classic Snake game. Alongside these, there is BattleColour, BattlePool and BattleVirus to choose from. You can play with your mates as a team, or go head-to-head to really make it interesting.
Already a sensation across the globe with 37 sites, BattleKart’s Gateshead location marks its exciting expansion into the North of the UK. Construction is underway, and anticipation is building for the grand opening this Autumn.
