Woman, 87, killed after car hits mobility scooter
She was travelling along a road in Salford when it veered into the road
An 87-year-old woman has died following a horror collision between a mobility scooter and a car in Little Hulton, Salford.
The woman was on the scooter, travelling along Manchester Road West, when it suddenly began to cross the road.
She collided with a car, suffering fatal injuries, and died in hospital a short time later.
Greater Manchester Police are now asking to speak to any witnesses who were in the area at around 11:15GMT on Thursday 27 November.
The woman has not been named.
