Woman dies after a double decker bus crashes into bus stop in Manchester
Two other people were also injured.
A woman in her 50s has died after a double decker bus crashed into a stop in Manchester city centre. It happened on Portland Street, near Piccadilly Gardens at around 9.30pm last night (10th July).
Two other people - a woman also in her 50s and a man in his 60s were also injured.
The bus driver stayed at the scene to assist police.
Investigators say they're particularly interested in hearing from anyone with dash or helmet cam footage of the collision or from Piccadilly in the minutes beforehand.
