Walkden community to unite a year since firebomb attack
Demi, Brandon, Lacie and Lia Pearson were all killed in the arson attack on their home last December
The family of four children, killed in a firebomb attack at their home in Walkden, have urged the community to come together tonight for a vigil, exactly one year since they were killed.
Demi, Brandon, Lacie and Lia Pearson all died when they home, on Jackson Street, was targeted in December 2017.
Their mum - Michelle - is still in hospital recovering from her injuries.
Now, their family are uniting to remember them on the one year anniversary of their deaths.
A candlelit vigil is being held outside their home from 6:30pm.
There will be a book of condolence, as well as badges and pens for sale, with all donations going to the Wythenshawe Burns unit.
A short slideshow presentation will also be shown.
In a post on Facebook, the childrens' grandmother, Sandra Lever, said:
"Everybody is welcome to join, to celebrate and remember our 4 angels one year on. If you would like to bring a candle so we can light up the street you would be more than welcome. There will be a Christmas tree where people can write personal messages and there will be a slideshow featuring the children. Hope to see everyone there, please share.
"We are going light up Jackson Street in memory of them hope everyone can attend."
