14-year-old boy in life-threatening condition after e-bike crashes into car

A second teenager suffered minor injuries

A 14-year-old boy is in a life-threatening condition in hospital after being involved in a crash between a car and an e-bike in Manchester.

The collision happened on Timpson Road at around 16:00GMT on Wednesday (19 March), while the bike was travelling through a junction in the direction of Southmoor Road.

It crashed into the car, before coming to rest on a third vehicle.

One of the riders suffered injuries described as life-threatening, while the other, also a 14-year-old boy, was left with minor injuries.

No arrests have been made and Greater Manchester Police are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
