Tributes are pouring in for a young dad from Rochdale who died on a stag do in Budapest.

Sam Clancy, 24, from Littleborough, had travelled to Hungary with a group of 22 lads on Friday.

He was reported missing when he vanished on a night out that evening.

A huge search was launch on social media but the Foreign Office has since confirmed his death.

In a statement it says:

“We are supporting the family of a British man who has died in Budapest. We are in contact with the Hungarian police and hospital services.”

Reports in the local Hungarian media suggest he may've been involved in a road accident.

Facebook's been flooded with people paying tribute to a "beautiful soul..with a promising future".

He leaves behind a two-year-old daughter.
