Tributes paid to man killed in Gorton

Family of stabbing victim pay tribute to him.

The family of a 28 year-old man who was murdered in Gorton have paid tribute to him.

At around 9.15pm on Monday 21 March 2015 police were called to Sunny Brow Road in Gorton to a report that a man had been stabbed

Emergency services attended and discovered that a man, who has been formally identified as Kyle Hand, had suffered stab wounds

Kyle’s family have paid him the following tribute: “Kyle was a much loved family man who was a devoted father to his son

“He was very well loved within the community and will be deeply missed by his heart broken family.”

Police say Jovan Martin of Whitburn Avenue, Manchester has been charged with murder.

He has been remanded into custody to appear before Manchester Magistrates’ Court on Saturday 26 March 2016.
