Traffic chaos on M6 as lorry loses trailer causing 10 mile queues
There were problems on both sides of the motorway on Monday morning (September 23)
Drivers have endured traffic chaos on the M6 after a lorry lost its trailer, causing 10 miles of queues.
It happened between J24-J25 heading northbound towards Wigan during the morning rush hour.
National Highways reported queues stretching back four miles, with motorists facing half-an-hour waits.
An earlier broken down vehicle also caused long queues on the southbound carriageway, although lanes have since reopened.
