Tributes continue to pour in for the 'much loved 16-year-old'.

A fundraising page set up in tribute to Rochdale teenager Chloe Cockton has so far raised almost £7k

The 16-year-old, from Turf Hill, died when the Renault Clio she was travelling in crashed into a pedestrian barrier in the early hours of Sunday.

The driver of the car, a 19-year-old man, remains in hospital where he is being treated for a serious head injury. Two girls aged 17 and a boy aged 16, were also in the car and were also treated for their injuries.

Last night, hundreds gathered at the scene and broke out in song in memory of Chloe and floral tributes continue to be left on Bury Road.

A JustGiving Page has been set up to help raise money for Chloe's family and funeral. The message reads:

No words will truly justify what a beautiful girl Chloe was, both inside & out. Sadly, on 24/07/16 the hearts of so many who loved her were to be forever broken. A story that has broke the entire community and touched the lives of so many who both knew & loved her for the beauty she was. It is absolutely unimaginable to think what those closest to her are going through right now and nothing will ever fill this empty space for them, but can we give Michelle, Lee & Sophie just one less thing to worry about at this difficult & heartbreaking time? With little strength of their own at this sad time, let's allow them rely on the strength of others to get them through, if people can donate just one or two pounds then we can help raise some money to give Chloe the send off she deserves and celebrate the life of the brightest star she now is. Every little helps, no matter how small a donation it will be so gratefully received. I thank you all in advance for your continued support with this, as well as your kind words, thoughts and prayers that have been seen all over Facebook. Shine bright angel, forever in our hearts and in our thoughts...Chloe Cockton.

Just Giving has told Key 103 it's been the most visited page since it was set up yesterday.
