It's been under construction for months and we now know when to expect the opening of The Ivy in Manchester.

The venue, situated in Spinningfields' new Pavilion development, will be the largest restaurant to open in the UK this year, with space for 535 diners over four floors.

It's due to open on 27th November and will feature a ground floor brasserie, first floor private dining room, an Asian bar and restaurant on the second floor, as well as Manchester's first Roof Garden - featuring fire pits and foliage.

Baton Berisha, Director of Operations for The Ivy Collection, says: “We are incredibly excited to bring The Ivy Collection to Manchester this winter. Situated within the heart of Spinningfields, Manchester’s luxury dining and shopping quarter, we can’t wait to showcase our different floors, dining concepts and offerings. They’ll be something for everyone and we hope to bring something new to the city."

Situated on the ground floor will be a traditional Ivy brasserie, open all day, seven days a week, serving up dishes like truffled orzo pasta, lobster linguine and slow-cooked lamb shoulder.

On the first floor, The Dalton Room will be available for those seeking a more exclusive experience, accommodating parties of up to twenty seated guests. The private room has floor to ceiling glass walls which offer views over Spinningfields while customers dine for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The second floor will be the first ever “Ivy Asia” – a glamourous bar and restaurant, serving Asian-inspired cocktails alongside dishes such as Wagyu beef with truffle sauce, salmon fillet teriyaki, and avocado, crispy tofu, lime and ginger dressing. The entire floor will be illuminated with a show-stopping green, semi-precious stone floor, set against a striking antique gold mirrored bar, gold-gilt ceiling and luxurious Asian fabrics. The Geisha Room, a stunning private room with bespoke mirrored artwork, is also available to hire privately.

On the top floor will be the Roof Garden. With its fully retractable roof - the space will be open all year round where guests can enjoy food and cocktails alongside an abundance of greenery and foliage, roaring fire pits and colourful fabrics.

Once open, the restaurant will host a mix of yet to be announced guest DJs, events and entertainment on each of its four floors. Reservations can be made for all floors, whilst walk-ins will be welcomed for those wishing to experience either the Ivy brasserie, “Ivy Asia” or Roof Garden.
