Teenager stabbed in Tameside

Police were called to a report of a male with stab injuries on Market Street in Ashton-under-Lyne at around 10.30pm last night (18th August).
A 16-year old boy was has been taken to hospital for treatment where his condition remains serious but stable.
A 16 year old boy has been arrested in connection with incident, and remains in custody for questioning.
