Teenager arrested after boy stabbed in the street in Trafford

A 17 year old boy's in hospital with serious injuries after being stabbed in Trafford.
At around 4:30pm yesterday, Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a stabbing on The Quadrant, Great Stone Road, Trafford.
A 17-year-old male was taken to hospital with serious injuries, but they are thankfully not believed to be life changing or threatening.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident, and an 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding.
Officers are now keen to speak to anyone who may have information, or dashcam, CCTV, or doorbell footage from around the time of the incident.
Detective Sergeant Rory Leicester, of GMP’s Trafford district, said:
“We understand that incidents of this nature which take place in broad daylight will cause concern within the community, but we do believe this to be an isolated incident.
“Whilst we have one suspect in custody, our enquiries are continuing at pace, and we are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed this incident or has any information that could assist our investigation.
