Suffering Bulldog puppy dumped outside vet practice
The puppy was abandoned outside vet practice in a pet carrier.

At only nine weeks old, Mavis the puppy was abandoned on the steps of Little Lane vets in Wigan on Monday 4th September.
Sadly, she was put to sleep to prevent further suffering as she had deteriorated.
RSPCA inspector, Susie Micallef said: “Mavis was in so much pain and she was unable to use her back legs at all. She was desperately trying to walk, it was so sad to see.
“She was abandoned inside a cat carrier which had two childrens’ tops inside. It is clear that whoever dumped her did so intentionally.
“They may have thought they were doing the right thing by leaving her outside a vet, but it is never acceptable to abandon an animal. Mavis was so young and defenceless that anything could have happened to her."
