A Stockport teenager whose cancer treatment left her with life changing side affects is aiming to help other children avoid the same fate.

As part of cancer awareness month Charlotte Jennings - who was diagnosed with Leukemia - has joined up with the charity Kidscan.

During her battle with leukemia, Charlotte was left with side effects meaning she won't be able to have children, works with the aid of a crutch and has brittle bones.

Working alongside Kidscan as an ambassador they're hoping to develop a more child friendly approach to cancer care.

Charlotte told Key it's great to be part of something that could help so many children.
