Teenage boy seriously injured after south Manchester assault

A teenage boy is in hospital with serious injuries after being assaulted in south Manchester in broad daylight.
Just after 11.30am today (Tuesday 22 November) Greater Manchester Police were called to reports of a serious assault on Southlea Road, Withington.
Officers attended the scene, and a teenage boy has been taken to hospital with serious injuries.
No arrests have been made.
A cordon is currently still in placE.
Enquiries are ongoing and police are keen to speak to anyone with information.
