Jacob Lee (DOB: 20/01/1992) of Pilgrims Way in Salford has been sentenced to 11 years in jail after he pleaded guilty to the kidnap and strangulation of a 15-year-old girl as she was walking in Salford.

The court heard how on the evening of Tuesday 29 November 2022, the 15-year-old was walking along Princes Avenue in Salford when she was approached from behind by Lees who then dragged her off before sexually assaulting and attempting to strangle her.
