Man fighting for life after Salford hit and run

Greater Manchester Police are appealing for information after a man was left with serious injuries after an incident in Salford.

The 64-year-old man was hit by a vehicle that failed to stop on Bolton Road in Swinton, near to McDonald's, at around 6:15pm last night (2/11/23).

Police say he was treated at the scene and taken to hospital, where he remains in a life-threatening condition.

Anyone with information, dashcam footage or who was in the area at the time is being asked to contact GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 2833-2/11/23.
