A road in Manchester's already been transformed into a giant catwalk for one of fashion's most iconic events - but more road closures are now in effect around the Northern Quarter.

Thomas Street is the stage for Chanel's prestigious Metiers d'Art show from tomorrow (Thursday 7th December).

The event has previously been held in Paris, New York and Rome.

It's invite only, with the 600 strong guest-list set to include loads of A-listers. Rumours include Manchester United legend David Beckham and Spice Girl Victoria Beckham.

It's send to bring in millions of pounds for the local economy.
