Red goes blue for Mission Christmas
A United fan is promising to get a City tattoo IF as many people as possible pledge their support to KEY103's Christmas present appeal.
A father-of-three from Manchester, who's a die-hard United fan, is promising to go blue in a bid to boost KEY103's Mission Christmas Appeal.
Paul Atherton from Timperley's pledged to get a City tattoo on his shoulder IF a thousand people take a selfie with a present at one of the hundreds of drop-off points.
They then need to tweet @key103 using the #missionchristmas.
LISTEN: Paul tells our Chief Reporter Michelle Livesey it's not gone down very well with his red relatives:
Mission Christmas is run by KEY103's children's charity Cash for Kids and aims to make sure tens of thousands of disadvantaged children in Greater Manchester wake up with a present on Christmas Day moning. Charity Manager Russell Feingold said:
"We need people like Paul to help us really make a difference to the lives of these young children, who through no fault of their own, are living in poverty. Paul is of course going that extra mile, at the cost of his love of United, to make our Mission Christmas Appeal a success and for that we can't thank him enough. We would urge Manchester to do what it always does so well and come together to help those who needed it most."
Don't forget to tweet your drop-off selfies to @key103 using the hashtag #missionchristmas
