Police raid North Wales holiday park after Oldham shooting and stabbing

Three people have been arrested at a holiday park in North Wales which was raided by officers investigating a shooting and stabbing in Oldham.
On Wednesday 22 May, patrols were called to Royal Oldham Hospital A&E after a man presented himself with gunshot wounds. Another man was rushed to hospital after being found with serious knife injuries on Busk Road.
As part of enquiries into what happened, GMP and North Wales Police officers executed a warrant at a holiday park in Abergele, North Wales on Tuesday 27 May.
Three people were arrested at the site. Two men - aged 32 and 22 - are being held on suspicion of attempted murder and a 28-year-old man is in custody on suspicion of assisting an offender.
Detective Inspector Alex Wilkinson of GMP’s Major Incident Team, said: “So far, we have conducted five search warrants and nine property searches have been executed as part of our investigation whilst securing one charge and making a total of eight arrests.
“Our work is far from over but the investigation is moving at pace, and we continue to work relentlessly to capture a picture of what happened leading up to the incident.
“We continue to urge anyone who has any information or any CCTV, mobile or dashcam footage from the area in the evening of 22 May to contact us as a matter of urgency.
