Police are appealing for information after a robbery at a shop in Brooklands.

Police are appealing for information after a robbery at a shop in Brooklands.

It happened at McColl's on Framingham Road at about 21:40 on Sunday (10th January 2016).

Three men entered the shop and threatened staff with a wine bottle before stealing cigarettes as well as the contents of the till and safe.

No one was injured.

Detective Sergeant Lee Attenborough from GMP’s Trafford Division said:

“Fortunately no one was injured, although this was an extremely distressing encounter for the two staff members in the shop.

“We are appealing for anyone who may have any information about this robbery or may have seen anything suspicious around this time to come forward and contact police.”
