A trespasser on the pitch ahead of City's clash with Wolves last night was one of the main talking points of the match.
A speedy squirrel sprung across the grass - dodging match officials who were armed with a brush and a fork.
One member of staff momentarily caught the critter before it launched away to continue leaping across the lawn.
The situation came to a close when another match official managed to catch the animal.
The game was goalless for the first 120 minutes and went down to penalties.
City go through to the quarter-final of the League Cup after finishing 4-1.
