People urged to attend funeral of war veteran

People in Wilmslow are being urged to give 96-year-old World War veteran Harry Wheeler a send-off fit for a hero. He has no family to mourn him, so it is hoped people will attend his funeral on Thursday 18th May. Harry who lived and worked in and around Wilmslow was married for over 50 years and had one child, but both have now died. The funeral  will take place at 10.40am at Macclesfield Crematorium.
