A jar of air from a Stone Roses concert at the Etihad Stadium at the weekend is being sold on eBay for more than £65,000.

The seller, frogamus1969, says the air was captured at the Stone Roses comeback gig when they performed their 1992 hit ‘ I Am The Resurrection’.

A description for the jar says: ‘All the atmosphere, anticipation and ecstasy of 60,000 people singing their hearts out – captured forever in this glass jar. I swear if you place your ear next to the jar you can still hear a faint reverberation of Squire’s solo.’

It even comes with a ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ and perhaps unsurprisingly, the seller isn’t accepting returns.

At the time of writing there were 90 bids on the item and the cost stood at £65,900.

The auction ends on the 26th June at 7pm.

The Stone Roses’ new single ‘A Beautiful Thing’ is out now.
