Pedestrian dies after crash on M67 in Tameside

A man has died after being hit by a vehicle while walking on the M67 in Tameside.

Police were called to the westbound carriageway Junction 3 at around 8pm last night after reports of a pedestrian on the motorway.

The 34 year old was pronounced dead at the scene.

A driver stopped at the scene of the crash - no arrests have been made.

Enquiries into the circumstances of the collision are ongoing.
