Advice for passengers flying from Manchester Airport after reports of long queues
People flying out from Manchester Airport today (Sunday) are being advised to arrive at the earliest time their airline recommends.
It follows reports of long queues and waits at security over the last few days, with many schools breaking up for the Easter holidays and families jetting off for a break.
The airport say they've seen a "significant increase in passenger volumes", which has put operations under "severe pressure".
Some are reporting on social media that the queues have died down, with one traveller calling the process "seamless", but others have still faced delays at security and check-in desks.
We've contacted the airport for a statement.
