Over 300 cannabis plants seized in Salford raids
A number of warrants were executed as part of Operation Naseby, a targeted response which aims to disrupt organised crime in Salford.
They were aimed at two addresses on Orrell Street and Wythburn Street, where large scale cannabis farms were found, and around 250 cannabis plants recovered.
A further 99 cannabis plants were also recovered at a third address on Wythburn Street, and a 23 year old man was arrested on suspicion of production of Cannabis and Abstracting Electricity. He remains in custody for questioning.
Police Constable John Prendergast said: "This is an excellent result, and by removing drugs from our streets, it'll have a significant impact on the scourge of organised crime in Salford.
"Our officers work around the clock daily to keep combatting criminal groups operating within our city, and we are committed to maintaining this level of action."
