Murder investigation launched after prisoner dies at HMP Risley in Warrington
It is believed Stephen O'Donnell was stabbed during an incident on Tuesday evening

A prisoner has died after an incident at HMP Risley in Warrington.
Cheshire Police confirmed they were called to the jail at 7:41pm on Tuesday 22nd January to reports of an assault.
It's believed the man - named by the Ministry of Justice as Stephen O'Donnell - had been stabbed.
Officers say his family have been informed and they are being supported by specialist officers.
A 23 year old man has been arrested on suspicion of murder.
A Ministry of Justice spokesperson said:
“Our condolences are with the friends and family of Mr O’Donnell and it would inappropriate to comment further while there is an ongoing police investigation."
