Motorcyclist fighting for his life in hospital after serious crash on M60
Officers are thanking members of the public who stopped by the roadside to help.
A motorcyclist is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after a serious crash on the M60.
Shortly after 1.40pm on Saturday (12/07) police we were called a report of a crash involving a motorbike on the anti-clockwise side of the motorway between junctions 25 and 24.
Patrols responded and a man in his 50s – believed to be the motorcyclist – was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. His family have been informed.
Investigations are ongoing, and so far, it isn’t believed that any other vehicle was involved in the incident.
Officers are thanking members of the public who stopped by the roadside to give the man initial first aid.
Anyone with further information, CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident is being urged to get in touch with police.
