Motorcyclist left with life-changing injuries after Bolton crash

A motorcyclist's been rushed to hospital with life-changing injuries after a crash in Bolton.

Greater Manchester Police say the 32-year-old man was riding along Lavender Road, Farnworth, when he was in collision with a Mercedes Sprinter at about 11:40am yesterday (Tuesday 7 March).

He was taken to hospital with serious leg injuries.

The driver of the van was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving and has since been released on bail.

Police are urging anyone with information about the incident or dashcam footage from the area at the time to contact their Serious Collision Unit on 0161 856 4741 quoting log 1168-070323.
