A motorcyclist has died after a serious crash in Bolton.
It happened on Chorley Old Road in Bolton at around 9:40 PM on Saturday, 14 December 2024, involving a Skoda Fabia and a motorbike.
Greater Manchester Police (GMP) say the Skoda Fabia, driven by a man in his 20s, was traveling east along Chorley Old Road in Horwich when it crossed into the path of an oncoming motorbike.
The motorbike rider, a man in his 20s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Skoda Fabia was arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving and is in police custody for questioning.
The GMP Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) is asking for information from witnesses and is seeking any available dashcam, mobile phone, or doorbell footage related to the incident.
