Manchester United are preparing for their Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspurs.

Up to 10,000 football fans are expected to travel from Manchester Airport to Bilbao, where the match is taking place.

The airport have decided to lay on a special send-off for the Reds.

The famous honeycomb light feature in Terminal 2 is bathing the Departures lounge in red, with more than 30 charter lights set to depart, transporting fans to the Spanish city ahead of the final.

If Manchester United win, they will secure a spot in the lucrative Champions League, which could generate over £100m from tickets, broadcast money, and sponsor bonuses.

Additionally, they will earn the right to play against the winners of the 2024/25 Champions League in the 2025 UEFA Super Cup.

The UEFA Europa League trophy is, at 15kg, the heaviest piece of UEFA silverware. To make things extra interesting, it also has no handles.

Kick-off is at 8pm at the San Mamés stadium.
