Cineworld today announced it will introduce a Superscreen auditorium at Cineworld Didsbury on Saturday 24th November – the first in Greater Manchester. Located in Parrs Wood Entertainment Centre, the cinema features eleven cutting-edge screens, including ScreenX, 4DX, a Starbucks and soon Superscreen.

The Superscreen will allow customers to see the latest blockbusters on a breath-taking wall-to-wall and ceiling-high screen. The auditorium will seat 519 people with laser 4K projection giving a brighter 3D experience and stunning multidimensional Dolby Atmos sound through 38 speakers.

Steven Wollaston, General Manager at Cineworld Didsbury comments: “We always look at the latest innovations in technology. Now with Superscreen at Didsbury, we can give cinema-goers more choice in how they enjoy a movie. Plus the upcoming Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald, is the perfect film to open our brand new Superscreen with.”

Local cinema-goers have the opportunity to purchase a Cineworld Unlimited Card, allowing them to enjoy access to an unlimited number of films per month for less than the price of two new-release peak time tickets, at just £17.90 per month. The Unlimited Card gives holders 10% discount off the price off cinema snacks and drinks, local offers at restaurants and shops, and exclusive advance screenings.
