After a tense battle with second-placed Liverpool for Premier League glory, champions Manchester City have raised the cup this afternoon on an open-top tour bus parading around the city centre.

Pep Guardiola and his squad departed from Exchange Square at 6pm, travelled onto St Mary’s Gate and then south on Deansgate, before finishing at the Beetham Tower.

It was here that a live stage show kicked off around 7pm with players and fan favourites Jack Grealish and Oleksandr Zinchenko addressing the thousands of fans gathered to celebrate their victory.

Jack Grealish, who was celebrating with a bottle of beer at the stage show, told the fans and his squad that he 'felt at home'.

This followed his previous address of the crowd on the bus parade where he delivered a rendition of Queen's 'We are the champions' with right-back Kyle Walker and the Man City fans.

During the stage show, Ukrainian player Oleksandr Zinchenko received arguably the largest applause of the evening as he thanked the fans for their support.

Pep Guardiola also addressed the crowd on stage, overjoyed and seemingly smoking a cigar.

The show finished just after 8pm with the classic Man City take on The Beatles' 'Hey Jude' and Neil Diamond's 'Sweet Caroline'.
