Manchester's Christmas lights switch on event announced
Key 103 set to host celebrations.
Key 103 will play host to the Manchester Christmas Lights Switch On.
Manchester’s countdown to Christmas begins with huge Christmas Lights switch-on party which takes place in Albert Square on Friday 4th November from 7:30pm.
Louisa Johnson will headline with support from Mancunian JP Cooper who leant his vocals to the Jonas Blue track, Perfect Strangers. Also performing MOBO nominated girl band M.O.
Opening the show will be Dancehouse Academy. Comic John Thomson will appear ahead of his role as evil Abanazar in the Opera House Panto, Aladdin. There will also be a performance from the cast of billy Elliot which is on at the Palace Theatre from 29th November.
The show will be hosted by Mike and Brooke with a special appearance from Paddy McGuinness.
