Manchester to celebrate murdered MP's life

A celebration of the life of Jo Cox will be held in Manchester city centre later (Wednesday 22nd June).

The Labour MP was stabbed and shot dead in her West Yorkshire consituency last Thursday lunchtime.

The event in Albert Square from 16:00 will mark what would have been the mum of two's 42nd birthday.

There will also be events in Batley and Spen as well as Trafalger Square in London.
