Manchester cat café advertises for cat nanny

A 'purrfect' job for cat lovers...

Published 2nd Mar 2016

A cat café in Manchester is advertising for the most ‘purrfect’ cat lover’s job - a cat nanny.

The successful candidate will be paid to play with the animals, clean out their litter trays, wash their bedding, groom and feed them for allegedly around £8 an hour.

As easy as it may sound, those who apply must also be prepared to work day and night shifts.

If being a cat nanny isn’t your thing, the café is also looking for a café manager, an assistant manager, front of house staff and a barista.

It’s apparently the first of its kind in the city and promises to offer ‘a home away from home’ where visitors can enjoy a ‘cuddle and a coffee’ in the Northern Quarter.

If it's successful, it's reported that owners and sisters Ellie and Sarah Close could look at opening cafes in Liverpool and Leeds too .
