Manchester Arena bosses left with "no choice" but to cancel Kings of Leon gig

Bosses at the Manchester Arena have been forced to cancel the Kings of Leon gig which was due to take place on Friday (9th June) following last month's terror attack.
The main concourse outside the venue is still taped off for the police investigation. 22 people died in the suicide bombing after Ariana Grande's show on 22nd May.
Anyone with tickets is able to apply for a refund or swap them for the show in Sheffield on Saturday, subject to availability.
A spokesperson for the arena said: "Following last month's tragic incident and the subsequent temporary closure of the main area outside the venue, Manchester Arena has no other option than to cancel this Friday’s Kings of Leon show.
"We apologise for not being able to stage this event and the inconvenience caused to our customers.
"The promoters have advised that the Sheffield Arena show on Saturday 10 June will go ahead as planned.
"Those that still want to see Kings of Leon and can make the Sheffield Arena show will be given the opportunity to re-book tickets with no booking fees (subject to availability)."
