Man charged after double-stabbing in South Manchester
Two women were taken to hospital
A man's been charged with attempted murder after two women were stabbed in South Manchester.
David Alder, who's 56, was charged in relation to the incident in Whalley Range on Wednesday.
Two women, aged 51 and 25, were taken to hospital with injuries that police described as serious, but not life-threatening.
The attack took place on Cambridge Avenue.
Alder has been remanded in police custody ahead of a scheduled appearance at Manchester Crown Court on Thursday 17 April.
