Man dies after Belle Vue crash
The motorcyclist died following a collision with a car on Hyde Road.
A motorcyclist has died after being involved in a collision with a car in Belle Vue.
Police were called to reports of a crash between a Peugeot 208 and a Suzuki motorbike shortly before 7am on Tuesday (5th December).
Emergency services tried to treat the driver of the motorbike at the scene of the incident before he was taken to hospital where was sadly pronounced dead.
The driver of Peugeot has also been taken to hospital suffering minor injuries.
PC Paul Hailwood of GMP's Serious Collision Investigation Unit said “I would like to extend my sincere condolences to the family of the man who has died this morning; my thoughts are with them at this terrible time.
“We are currently working at the scene to establish exactly what has happened and I would ask that anybody who witnessed the collision or has dash cam footage please contact the police.”
