Man dies after being found unconscious on busy Manchester street
Police were called to Whitworth Street early this morning
A man's died after being found unconcious on a busy Manchester street.
Emergency services rushed the man to hospital earlier after he was found in Whitworth street by sadly he was later pronounced dead.
In a statement Greater Manchester Police say:
"At around 6.40am this morning, we received a call regarding the concern for the welfare of a male on Whitworth Street, Manchester.
"Emergency crews attended but sadly, despite their best efforts, a man later died in hospital.
"Enquiries are ongoing."
