Man fighting for life after being stabbed following car crash in Middleton
Emergency services rushed to Rochdale Road on Monday night
A man is fighting for his life in hospital after being stabbed following a crash in Middleton.
At around 8:30pm on Monday 29 July, police were called to initial reports of a road traffic collision on Rochdale Road.
When emergency services arrived, they found a man with stab wounds.
The victim was rushed to hospital, where he remains with injuries believed to be life-threatening.
A cordon is still in place at the scene as an investigation into the incident continues.
On Monday, Greater Manchester Police spokesperson said: "We were called to Rochdale Road in Middleton, Rochdale at around 8:30pm tonight to initial reports of a road traffic collision.
"Officers arrived and found a man with stab wounds and is currently receiving treatment for what is believed to be life-threatening injuries. A scene remains in place whilst detectives continue to conduct enquiries."
