Man charged with murder of Manchester couple almost 40 years ago
GMP's cold case unit has been working alongside the FBI
A man from America's been charged with the murders of a young couple from Manchester - 40 years ago.
Christopher Farmer and his girlfriend Peta Frampton from Stockport disappeared when they went traveling in 1978 - their bodies were pulled from Carribean Sea in Guatemala.
Officers from GMP's cold case unit began to re-investigate the case last year and have been working alongside the FBI.
75-year-old Silas Boston from Califormia's been charged with their murders and is due to stand trial.
